Restore proper fork performance with our pressure springs, designed as a direct stock replacement for KYB fork systems. These springs play a critical role in maintaining internal balance and consistent damping throughout the stroke.
Over time, pressure springs can fatigue. As a result, fork response becomes inconsistent, and control is reduced. This can also lead to an unpredictable feel under load. Replacing worn springs helps return the fork to its intended operating range. In turn, this improves ride quality and restores confidence across varied terrain.

2025–2026 KYB Fork Update (YZ-F Platform)
The current-generation KYB fork used on the 2025–2026 Yamaha YZ-F platform introduced a longer 112mm pressure spring. As a result, preload increased by approximately 5mm compared to the previous 107mm design.
This change improves front-end stability and helps reduce pitching under load. However, it also creates a firmer initial feel in the early part of the stroke.
Because of this, some builders and tuners explore ways to reduce preload. In many cases, this includes setup changes or alternate spring configurations. The goal is to improve small-bump compliance and overall comfort based on rider preference and terrain.
Ultimately, internal spring configuration has a direct impact on how the fork transitions through the stroke. For this reason, proper setup is critical to achieving the right balance of control and comfort.
Performance Benefits
