IMPACT16 Shock Absorber – Beta XTrainer 250 / 300

IMPACT16 Shock Absorber for Beta XTrainer 250 / 300

Designed for Technical Off-Road Performance

The IMPACT16 Shock Absorber is a premium performance upgrade developed specifically for the Beta XTrainer platform. It delivers improved rear-wheel control, greater damping consistency, and enhanced rider confidence across technical terrain, enduro trails, hard enduro sections, and faster off-road conditions.

In addition, the IMPACT16 improves stability while maintaining the comfortable and forgiving feel that makes the XTrainer platform popular with riders of all skill levels. Riders benefit from better traction, improved support, and a more planted feel in rough terrain.

Advanced Hydraulic Control

Built around a high-performance 50mm aluminum piston and a hard-anodized aluminum body, the IMPACT16 combines low-friction operation with advanced hydraulic control. Furthermore, the bladder-style design improves damping consistency while reducing cavitation during demanding riding conditions.

Riders also benefit from independently adjustable rebound, high-speed compression, and low-speed compression circuits for precise setup tuning. As a result, the shock provides a more controlled and connected feel across changing terrain conditions.

Improved Stability and Rider Confidence

The Beta XTrainer platform is widely known for its approachable chassis and softer suspension character. Because of this, many riders upgrade the rear suspension to improve stability, support, and confidence when riding more aggressively or carrying higher speeds through rough terrain.

Consequently, the IMPACT16 was developed to increase rear-wheel traction while preserving overall comfort and compliance. The result is a balanced feel that works well for technical riding, trail conditions, and demanding off-road terrain.

Performance Benefits

• Improved rear-wheel traction in technical terrain
• Increased stability during acceleration and braking
• More consistent damping under aggressive riding conditions
• Enhanced bottoming resistance and mid-stroke support
• Greater adjustability for rider weight and terrain conditions
• Reduced fade through improved oil and bladder system design
• Precision-machined aluminum construction for premium durability
• Custom valving availability for rider-specific tuning

Technology Overview

The IMPACT16 utilizes a large-volume damping architecture with a 50mm aluminum piston paired to a 16mm shaft for improved oil control and damping stability. Additionally, the hard-anodized body reduces wear while supporting smoother shock movement under load.

The bladder system design also helps maintain damping consistency by minimizing cavitation and aeration during repeated impacts. Moreover, the premium internal components help provide a smooth and predictable damping feel during aggressive riding conditions.

The shock features:

• 45-click rebound adjustment
• 45-click high-speed compression adjustment
• 45-click low-speed compression adjustment
• Synthetic 2.5wt racing shock oil
• Aluminum preload lock ring
• Low-friction piston band and V-ring seal technology
