The EPICA Cartridge System for WP XACT Enduro 48mm forks is a premium closed-cartridge suspension upgrade designed for riders who want improved front-end control, traction, comfort, consistency, and tuning capability from their KTM or Husqvarna enduro motorcycle.

Designed specifically for 2024+ KTM EXC and Husqvarna TE/FE models equipped with WP XACT Enduro 48mm forks, the EPICA Cartridge improves hydraulic consistency, front-end traction, damping sensitivity, and overall chassis stability across technical terrain, rocks, roots, braking bumps, loose terrain, and high-speed off-road conditions. In addition, the system creates a more planted and connected front-end feel during acceleration, downhill braking sections, off-camber terrain, and repeated impacts.

The EPICA Cartridge delivers more predictable suspension performance throughout long rides, changing temperatures, and demanding off-road conditions. At the core of the system is Lainer Suspension’s advanced bladder-style cartridge architecture combined with the Progressive Damping System (PDS). Technology Overview

The EPICA Cartridge System was engineered to maximize suspension tunability while maintaining hydraulic stability, comfort, and traction across a wide range of off-road riding environments. The bladder-style cartridge design improves damping consistency while reducing hydraulic fade commonly associated with traditional internal spring systems. Additionally, the larger internal oil volume helps improve thermal stability and long-term damping consistency during extended rides and race conditions.

The cartridge includes externally adjustable compression damping, rebound damping, and spring preload adjustment. Therefore, riders and tuners can make meaningful setup changes without disassembling the fork. The reversible high-speed compression piston also allows tuning changes for enduro, hard enduro, cross-country, dual-sport, technical terrain, and high-speed off-road applications.

In addition, the EPICA system integrates Lainer Suspension’s Progressive Damping System (PDS). This design increases hydraulic control near the end of the stroke, improving bottoming resistance, chassis stability, and rider confidence during aggressive off-road riding conditions.
