The system’s flaw in the original mono is that a check valve is fitted as standard, which separates the compression and return functions. To increase comfort, a 1mm hole was made in the secondary piston holder. This solution makes the shock absorber too stiff and reactive.

To overcome this defect, we have developed a kit that significantly improves the performance of the shock absorber:

• Ergal piston is like the shock absorber body; therefore, when temperatures change, it adapts to the tube, avoiding variations in operation throughout use.
• Increased oil flow through the piston provides lower operating temperatures.
• A low friction piston band with a specialized design allows the band to adapt to varying changes in the shock body due to increased temperatures.
• The check valve slats are eliminated, which allows the adjustment of the lower rebound to influence the compression, allowing more significant adjustment over the entire shock absorber stroke.
• Light Weight Design: Reduced weight allows the shock to operate more efficiently and decreases reciprocating mass
• High-performance synthetic race oil is highly recommended
• Adding our Bladder Kit is recommended to provide better compliance in breaking bumps, roots, deep holes, Etc.
